1.0mm Series

1.0mm connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 110 GHz. The outer conductor measures 1.0mm and the robust wall of the connector body is designed to engage before the center conductor, assuring a rugged, repeatable mating interface. The interface is air dielectric with the contact supported by a short dielectric bead. We offer 1.0mm connectors for semi-rigid and low-loss flexible cable which may be adapted for custom applications.

1.85mm Series

2.4mm Series

2.92mm Precision Connectors

2.92mm connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 45GHz. The outer conductor measures 2.92mm with a strong outer body wall compared to dielectric loaded interfaces of comparable size. The interface dielectric is air with the center conductor supported by a short dielectric bead. 2.92mm connectors are mechanically compatible with SMA and 3.5mm connectors, but the male center pin is shortened to allow outer conductor engagement before the center contacts mate, preventing damage to the female contact tines. We offer 2.92mm connectors for semi-rigid and low-loss flexible cable, receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.

3.5mm Series

3.5mm connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 34GHz. The outer conductor measures 3.5mm and the connector body wall is more robust than standard SMA connectors. The interface is air dielectric with the contact supported by a short dielectric bead. 3.5mm connectors are mechanically compatible with SMA and 2.92mm connector series, but the 3.5mm female contact is more robust than both the SMA and 2.92mm series due to a larger center contact diameter and thicker socket tine walls. We offer 3.5mm connectors for semi-rigid and low-loss flexible cable, receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.

SMA Series

SMA subminiature connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors initially designed for performance through 18GHz, however the standard interface is capable of operating mode free up to 24 Ghz. Extended frequency versions are also available with performance to 26.5GHz. SMA connectors are one of the most popular and commonly used connectors in both microwave and RF applications where size, performance and cost are critical considerations. The SMA connector interface utilizes a PTFE (Teflon) dielectric. We offer SMA connectors for semi-rigid and low loss cables as well as receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.

SSMA Series

SSMA subminiature connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 35GHz. Extended frequency (HF) versions are available for performance through 40GHz. SSMA connectors are commonly used for applications where reduced size and higher packaging density are required. The standard SSMA interface utilizes a PTFE (Teflon) dielectric. PCI extended frequency versions may either be Teflon loaded or utilize an air dielectric with short dielectric support bead. We offer SSMA connectors for semi-rigid and low-loss flexible cable, receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.

TNC Series

TNC connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 12.4 GHz. TNC connectors are medium sized and commonly used for microwave and RF applications requiring higher average/peak power handling and good electrical performance. The standard TNC interface utilizes an overlapping PTFE (Teflon) dielectric for increased voltage breakdown resistance. PCI also offers TNCA extended frequency connectors that perform mode free through 18 GHz, but without the overlapping PTFE interface or increased voltage handling characteristics. We provide both TNC & TNCA connectors for semi-rigid, low loss flexible cable, receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.

N Series

N connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 11 GHz. Larger than the TNC series, N connectors are a popular medium sized option commonly used in microwave and RF applications that require high power handling and good electrical performance. Precision N (PN) extended frequency versions are available for performance through 18GHz. The standard PCI Type N connector interface utilizes an air dielectric and PTFE (Teflon) support dielectric beyond the interface region while some options may employ a single precision (7mm) support bead. We offer N connectors for semi-rigid and low loss flexible cable, receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.
